TinyLetter, in Memoriam

9 days ago (theverge.com)

I remember TinyLetter. I never had a newsletter that was read by anyone, or ever made a community of readers like the author quotes, but it served me well the few times I needed it. It stood out amongst the hyper-commercialized alternatives.

To me, it stood as a sign for what the internet could be: a place for useful, non-commercial (or at least commerce-second) products. And this hasn’t changed. There are tons of tiny services out there that give me a similar hope.
