Seriously? I've experienced this personally multiple times in my life: gas station ran out of gas, so you can't pump. Or they have bags over every single handle and they're out of order. Now, it's easy to solve: just go to one of many other gas stations nearby... but I've certainly experienced a gas station that didn't function.
A pump yes sure, but an entire station I never experienced. Maybe just lucky. Also in Europe there are a bunch of charge points that have a single connector (one CCS one Chademo technically) while I don’t know any single pump gas stations
Europe may be different but in the US most fast charging stations have multiple chargers, usually 2-6, sometimes many more depending on the place.
