FWIW the book has moved to https://mitp-content-server.mit.edu/books/content/sectbyfn/b...
The old url at http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-text/book/book.html is now 404, and most of what you find on that site will try to get you to do an "eTextbook rental".
Apart from another HTML rendition, there's also an e-reader-ready epub rendition (from the HTMLs obv.) at https://github.com/sarabander/sicp?tab=readme-ov-file#sicp
Is the 'How to get Scheme' still appropriate even though it was last updated in 2003?
Are you asking whether the "MIT/GNU Scheme" project is still viable?
The last release is from January 2023. Seems fine enough for learning.

I'm asking if it works well for reading SICP, i.e. the solutiins are the same.
